Khajiit Forms
As it turns out, the Khajiit take on different forms as time goes on, depending on the phases of the moons. More can be read about it here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
We should find a way to incorporate this into the story. I can think of more than a few ways.

Re: Khajiit Forms
Why do this? Bethesda didn't do this in any of the vanilla games. We shouldn't be worrying about stuff like this at the moment. I didn't know that though.
Re: Khajiit Forms
I know there are different races of khajiit though. Some are taken care of in vanilla MW.
Forms
I only said this because we could incorporate this into a quest or book or something. Stuff like this is always useful, I think.
Re: Khajiit Forms
Elsweyr is the home of Khajiits. Those who are seen in MW are special because many of them have been kidnapped by dunmer slavehunters (quests?). I think Khajiits prefer to stay in their own country. And it'll be strange if the player couldn't see the others forms. We don't have to make them playable and some can be creatures instead of NPC. But they should be there.

Re: Khajiit Forms
exactly. Some forms of khajiit are just tigers or small cats that cant speak or walk upright. Some of the different types are described as dark or tabby and some of those descriptions are covered in Morrowind's khajiit. Some, however will have to be made. I figure that someone could easily use NifTexture to fix up some new faces or something to cover the other types of khajiit. Some are just like wood elves though. That is the tricky part. We have to make wood elves with khajiit tails. They are khajiit but they look so much like the wood elves it's unbelievable.Le Grimacier wrote:Elsweyr is the home of Khajiits. Re: Khajiit Forms
This would be a crazy thing to incorporate into Elsweyr. See, If created a way to make it so that as the time you played in Elsweyr; The Khajiit will always change forms. That would be the most impossible seeming thing we could ever do, really.
Re: Khajiit Forms
If we make different races for each form of Khajiit (except those who will be creatures), will you redo the orginal race? Will you rename original race in Suthay-rath (the official description) or will you call them all Khajiits? Will you give them vanilla bodies or better bodies?

Re: Khajiit Forms
The original race will not be touched except to rename it as you said IF we make different races for them. IF we don't then yes, we will call them all Khajiits. They will probably do both versions of bodies if we can manage. This is so people have a choice.

From Pocket guide 1rst Edition
Over twenty forms have been documented among the catmen of Elsweyr
So you have the 16 common forms, but there are 8 more...From [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Michael Kirkbride's post
"[...]The Khajiit might have 24 different forms dictated by a magical, biological connection with Tamriel's moons, and the Argonians no doubt enjoy, at least psychologically, the most alien sentience on the planet, but the Dwemer are still WEIRDER.[...]"
Masser occludes the sun (solar eclipse 1)
Secunda occludes the sun (solar eclipse 2)
Masser and Secunda both occlude the sun (solar eclipse 3)
Masser passes into Nirn's umbra (lunar eclipse 1)
Secunda passes into Nirn's umbra (lunar eclipse 2)
Masser and Secunda both pass into nirn's umbra (lunar eclipse 3)
Masser occluding the sun with Secunda in Nirn's shadow (a lunar and solar eclipse at the same time), and the reverse.
That gets you 24. (Mane not included)
The Khajiit born at this date is not as rare and unique as the Mane but he's still uncommon. Because this astronomical events are rares, he could have special abilities and form (like a white Khajiit for exemple). Other Khajiit could consider them special like some sort of chief or leader. In game you will have one or two from each of this breeds.
