Elsweyr Heightmap

Right now,our main concerns are lore, and a heightmap. I talked to P:C, and they told me that when we get some work done, we get their heightmap for telling where Elsweyr is going to go. I will try to do the same for Shotn and TR, but I do not know if they will be willing. I am fairly sure that most province mods want compatibility, so we do not want to put anything where it would conflict. If anyone here can make us a heightmap of Elsweyr, please PM me or Heyabusa.

You don't have to worry about Shotn or TR for land compatibility because they're on the other side of Cyrodiil to us. We just need that hight map.

I imagine that they want us to get some exteriors done... If we use tes faith after we get the heightmap, we can move the cells to a proper position.

Yeah, so we better get our butts in gear and get a heightmap!

Before we do that, we need to sit down and have a serious talk with exterior modders

I'm not sure but to my knowledge there's only two modders working on this ATM. Are you talking about the ones not working on it or just you two?

The showcase is only going to be 16 square cells. That's about the size of a regular exterior claim at TR. As you already know, it's for just showing the style of our desert and our skill. According to pROvAK, we have another exterior modder. I myself am an exterior/interior modder.

As of Now, we have 4 exterior modders, and 3 interior modders. Plus some guy who doesn't even make an account, he just trolls around here all day.

sgmonkey has made heightmaps for all of tamriel. shotn and p.c. use them. convince him that this is a sure project. and he'll give y'all the heightmap.

He showed us his Elsweyr. It is amazing, but he is holding it back from us until we get our first few claims done.Sometimes he didn't make a lot of sense...oh well.

He made sense to me. He was sensible to hold it back from us. We didn't have a lot done.

He didn't want it to be released prematurely, he's waiting to see if we are dedicated or not.

yeah. When our project showcase is finished, he will be able to see were serious around here.

I hope so. He is the one who made them, and the one who controls them. It's in his hands. He did the P:C heightmap so his Elsweyr heightmap is especially valuable.

Was it Senchal you were starting with?

EDIT: How does 37 cells of the surrounding area of Senchal sound? Should give you something to work with. The province is 2692 cells in total, just so you know. That doesn't include any underwater areas, apart from the few coastal ones.

That would be very appreciated. I am good with underwater so that's no biggie. Those cells would give us a chance to get started with the many tropical items we have. Pm me the link when you are ready. I handle the data files obviously.

First release is intended to be Senchal. And a bit of the surrounding land. It's the farthest city from any borders, really.

Sounds good. SGM! You're back! There was another person who had almost the same username as you on a different forum who, I assumed was you. They got me really confused, and until I saw your username again, I thought it was you. Sorry bout' that.

lol. I hope you saw his post about the cells? When he is ready, we will have a good few cells to work with on Elsweyr.
