Misc Quest Ideas

Got cool Quest ideas that you want to share with us? Post the here.

How about a joinable bandit gang? Where you can be a bad bandit & cause all sorts of trouble? Robbing, pillaging, killing, etc.?

Only problem with that would be that we would have to make a few villages just for killing and pillaging. It'd be nice to rob a traveling caravan though.

"Follow" quests would be really cool...something like tailing someone to something, kinda like going after Fargoth, but more advanced and more reliable.

Know what would be awesome? Achievements. Plain and simple, flat out awesome.

Sucks that that isn't possible...

Unless if we scripted the achievement to pop up, you know, where words pop up, and then had like a book to keep track of them.

So, we can have a thing where we can rob a caravan & maybe add one village or camp. We can also sneak into the existing villages somehow, no?

Your idea would totally work, but we don't want people killing story or quest people just for another quest. It would take a lot of thinking to figure out how we could do it in a way that would not break the game. I think we should do this though, it sounds cool.

Well I am sure there are non-essential characters, or you can make some, or maybe a quest would need to be done w/ that character beforehand.

Oh! I see what you mean. This would be a great idea, as long as the quest doesn't tell you to pillage riverhold or something.

I would love that, but the Dark Brotherhood and Cammona Tong do not have a presence in Elsweyr. Cammona Tong, maybe. But the Dark Brotherhood seems to have less Khajiits than anything.

Well then how bout a different assassins/crime organization?

Yes. Definitely. If someone could come up with a cool name...? Of course, it would have to be a very secretive Elsweyr-Only group, so it matches the lore.

Um,...the Killer Kats?

According to the lore, there is a Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary in Corinthe, but I think their orders come from Cyrodiil (the head of this group could be the one who receives this orders. Nothing will change in terms of gameplay. ) You could take inspiration from the Thugs, a sect of assassins. They accepted new members after a sacrifice and a take of consecrated sugar. They also attacked caravans and lonely travellers for gold and few was known about them because there was no witnesses and no bodies left. They was originally stanglers but we can make them normal assassins.
And there is nothing stopping us from creating a rival Khajiit faction. For example, a sort of killer sect dedicated to Mehrunes Dagon or other bad Daedra.

Can we play the other races too & do stuff?

If we make separate races for the Khajiits, maybe. I think it would be awesome if we could just create a separate Brotherhood where they plainly tell you: "I don't care if you never joined the Brotherhood elsewhere or if you were the damned Listener! Here, in Elsweyr, you answer to ME." Something like that.

I'd like a quest about a guy called the "Sandman". That'd be bad-ass.

And he sells vials of worthless sand? He says it's magic sand so people be it for lots of money and you have to stop him for a quest.
