Sload airship
Someone on the official forum has found concept art for the sloadship
It's hard to say if it's a creature, something built by the sloads or something using sload gas. Or maybe the three.

Sloads are supposed to be creepy. Their airship could be like a jellyfish filled with gas and spore. It could look like a living thing but it's not. The usable parts could be thin, membranous and sticky with sort of visible veins. The solid parts could also be made of coral.

Re: Sload airship
I was wondering this as well. Then figured, why not? Not all sightings are recorded. And, our hero is awfully quiet about a lot of things. Grim can surely tell why lore would allow for this as well.SGMonkey wrote:Would the sload be found in Elsweyr?
Re: Sload airship
Well there have been a couple of quotes of sload ships at Senchal. Not much more. But i thought they were referring to sea ships.

Sload airships carrying corpses from Senchal
Put Sloads on Hammerfell or Morrowind and they'll become dry quickly. With its tropical and wet environment, I think Pellitine is suitable for the slug-men so they won't dessicate. But Sloads are associable so you won't see many of them.

I doubt they would ever be found this far East.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wrote:The Sload Coral Kingdoms have generally followed an isolationist policy, with only limited contact and trade with Tamriel. Therefore their history is not greatly known. The most important event known is when they released the Thrassian Plague upon Tamriel in 1E 2260, killing more than half of the population. In response, Tamriel assembled the All Flags Navy that ravaged Thras, killing all the Sload it could find and finally sinking it with unknown magics. The Sload, however, survived, and Thras has since risen again.
